Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Gifanco (“we”, “us”) collects through gifanco.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

Information you give us when you request a proposal:

• Name, work email, company name and phone / WhatsApp number
• Occasion, quantity, budget per gift and any message you write
• The gifts you add to your shortlist

Information collected automatically:

• The page you sent the enquiry from and any campaign tags in the link (for example, which ad brought you to us)
• Usage data through Google Analytics: pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and how you found us

Your gift shortlist is saved only in your own browser until you submit the form. We do not see it before then.

3. Why we use it

• To prepare and send your gifting proposal, mock-ups and pricing
• To contact you about your enquiry or order by email, phone or WhatsApp
• To deliver orders and issue GST invoices
• To understand how visitors use our website and improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.

4. Your consent

By submitting the enquiry form, you consent to us using your details for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sales@gifanco.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

5. Who we share it with

• Google: enquiries are stored in Google Sheets (Google Workspace), and website usage is measured with Google Analytics. Google processes this data on our behalf.
• Delivery and production partners: only when you place an order, and only the details needed to make and deliver it.
• Authorities: if the law requires us to.

6. Where it is stored and for how long

Your data is stored on Google’s servers, which may be located outside India. We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Invoices and order records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.

7. Cookies and analytics

On gifanco.com we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• Correct or update inaccurate data
• Delete your data
• Withdraw your consent
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf

Email sales@gifanco.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Security

We protect your information with access controls and secure (HTTPS) connections, and only people who need it to handle your enquiry or order can see it. No online system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it took effect.
